With it’s head office based in Hong Kong, Cosmos Services Co., Ltd. was established in 1974 as a group company of ITOCHU Corporation, one of Japan’s leading general trading companies.

We have office in Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam enabling us to strategically develop our business within Asian region by providing both local and international specialist knowledge and services under Cosmos brand. With 50 years’ of history, Cosmos brand are well placed to offer our clients tailored advice and service excellence.

Cosmos is dedicated to acting in the best interests of our clients, advise without bias with innovation and creativity. On the other hand, we also aim to provide society with safety and security by managing the risks that are growing more diversified, complex and gigantic.

As a subsidiary of ITOCHU group, we have been adhering our new corporate mission – “Sampo-yoshi”. It is the business spirit by which ITOCHU Corporation aims to bring a positive effect into the world and to contribute to sustainable society for all.

We will promote sustainable business activities by preventing and continuing to give consideration to problems for the conservation of the global environment, climate change mitigation and adaption, pollution control, resource recycling, protection of biodiversity and ecosystems, and basic human and labor rights.

We will endeavor to effectively use resources (such as air, water, land, food, minerals, fossil fuels, animals and plants), respect human rights and consider occupational health and safety in the supply chains of the products we handle.

We request our business partners to understand and implement the concept of sustainability in the COSMOS Group, and aim to build a sustainable value chain.

Education and Awareness of Employees to Promote Sustainability

We believe that the promotion of sustainability starts with each and every employee. Therefore, we will take necessary measures to educate our employees on the material issues we have identified and nurture a sustainability mindset among the workforce. Every employee is expected to adhere to this policy by executing respective action plans drafted in alignment to this policy.
